BIOGRAPHY

Susan Glendening, Environmental Specialist, is a project manager for the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority, and for SFEP’s Adaptation and Resilience Technical Assistance group with a focus on nature-based shoreline infrastructures for flood risk and co-benefits for ecosystem functions. She also worked for 13 years (as part of SFEP) at the SF Bay Water Quality Control Board on permitting of dredge and fill projects; and developing the statewide NPDES general permit for drinking water systems. She is experienced in conducting lab and field work for evaluating aquatic primary and secondary productivity, aquatic toxicology, fisheries, and groundwater, in areas spanning the Bay and Delta, the Presidio former military base, and others, through her previous positions. Susan has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Davis, and M.S. in Environmental Management from University of San Francisco.
