To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and live in one of the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma. Artists may apply individually or as part of an artist group.

Applicants must submit a complete application by the application deadline and propose artwork that connects to the 2026 Estuary AIR theme, Rising Seas. Elected or appointed public officials are not eligible to apply.
