Review all the information you need to know to attend the State of the Estuary Conference on October 10-11, 2017. This information will be updated regularly as we approach the conference.
Registration for the State of the Estuary Conference will open in August 2017.
This year we are returning to the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland, where we hosted the 2007 State of the Estuary Conference. The Scottish Rite Center, built in 1927, is a stunning building on the shore of beautiful Lake Merritt.
The conference organizers will need volunteers to help with registration or conference logistics. Volunteers will receive free registration on the day(s) that they work the conference. Each person will be scheduled to a 5 hour shift. Shifts will run from 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM or 12 PM – 5 PM. Volunteers might be able to view a few presentations during their actual shift time, but the rest of the day volunteers can attend the conference at no charge. In addition, volunteers will be able to attend the poster session and reception at no cost on the day(s) they volunteer. We will need the majority of volunteers during the morning shifts.
