The Bay Area Watershed Network (BAWN) is a network of natural resource professionals and community members who work locally to protect watersheds, from headlands to the Bay, throughout our region. The BAWN provides opportunities to share information and coordinate ideas, proposals, and activities.
BAWN members interact and collaborate in a number of ways. SFEP regularly sends relevant job postings, event announcements, and other materials to the members via email. There is typically an annual in-person meeting where members make presentations and network with each other. Membership is free and only requires an email request to our staff contact to be added to the list!
In addition to the annual meeting, BAWN has several ad-hoc working groups around the topics of:
- Education and Outreach
- Assessment, Monitoring, and Restoration Tools
- Land and Water Use
