The Estuary Partnership assists the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board in protecting water quality, creeks, and wetlands that have the potential to be impacted by fill and stormwater runoff from California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) roadway projects. Estuary Partnership staff is able to identify water quality concerns early in the planning and permitting process, thereby protecting water quality while keeping the permitting process moving forward.
