About the Author
James has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Radford University and is expecting to receive his Master's of Science in Environmental Management in 2011 from the University of San Francisco. Aside from his scholastic pursuits, James is an avid outdoors-man that relishes the idea of a 5 day solo excursion or a day of bouldering. James is a newly certified Beach Watch citizen scientist volunteer for the Farallones Marine Sanctuary Association and NOAA. He plans to continue his education with this group and become involved in the Oiled Wildlife Care Network, transporting oiled wildlife to rehabilitation facilities. He also plans on assisting with damage assessment surveys when called upon by FMSA and OSPR.
